We are happy to announce the completion of an expansion project of our datacenter, located at 325 Delaware Ave. in Downtown Buffalo.

The 7,000-square foot datacenter has been upgraded to include an additional 140 KW of cooling capacity by installing 7 Liebert In-Row Advanced Direct Expansion CRAC units. Each of the 7 CRAC units has its own condenser which benefits from variable fan speed modulation for improved efficiency, helping to further enhance the facility’s overall efficiency.

In addition, we have added 80 KVA of UPS backed power through the addition of an APC 80 KVA N+1 Symmetra, providing more uninterruptible power capacity.

According to Jon Biloh, President of ColoCrossing “All of this is designed to help us better serve our existing and future clients. This also isn’t the last planned expansion in our datacenter, but more on that when the time comes.”

We’re ecstatic to be able to continue our commitment to the area and play our small role in the revival of Downtown Buffalo. Currently, we employ 30 local residents and plan to add an additional 15 employees to our roster within the next year and a half.

“It’s truly an exciting time to be a part of a community that is so deserving of good fortune. I firmly believe that our biggest asset is our people, and I’m just glad our people are Buffalonians.” said Mr. Biloh.
